The Role
Oxfam International's West Africa Regional platform is looking for an experienced safeguarding professional to help deliver Oxfam's strategy and program to protect those we work with from harassment, sexual exploitation and abuse and to contribute to support a cultural transformational journey:- promoting within teams a better understanding and adherence to Oxfam values

What we're looking for
You will have experience in conducting investigations and managing complex cases, demonstrating confidentiality, empathy and sensitivity to survivors and stakeholders involved, with the ability to build personal rapport and trust. You will be skilled in identifying and mitigating risks. You will have strong facilitation and presentation skills, with proven experience in delivering training. Experience working in an international preferably in an INGO context is also a requirement.
Bilingualism in English and French is a key essential requirement in order to effectively support the West African region.
