One person in three in the world lives in poverty. Job purpose
This role will initially focus on establishment of a fully functional virtual, global CIO team across the Oxfam Confederation. This includes the global PMO function, an ITIL-based service delivery architecture for a suite of Global IT Applications, strategic business partner relationships, and leveraging the network of individual affiliate’s IT expertise, particularly using agile methods for rapid development and deployment. Longer term, we seek aligned information systems and collaboration tools that will help build simplicity, transparency and trust throughout the confederation. The overarching aim is a stronger Oxfam that is better in achieving its mission: a future free from the injustice of poverty.
