The Role

Oxfam International Regional Platform in Asia is looking for a Regional Humanitarian Manager to act as Oxfam's regional representative on humanitarian matters, coordinating Oxfam's humanitarian resources and leading the region's strategy for the localization of humanitarian leadership, disaster risk reduction, mitigation & response.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced humanitarian professional and thought leader, able to think strategically and analytically and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to localising humanitarian leadership and gender issues in a humanitarian environment. You will be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, often in pressured , rapidly-changing situations. You will demonstrate an inclusive and empowering leadership style, being able to facilitate and coach teams and stakeholders within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.
