  • Location: Based in Oxford - Oxfam International is unable to guarantee the obtaining of a work permit for the role. Candidates must have and be able to retain the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Contract: 2-years fixed term contract
  • Hours: Full time (36 hours per week). Part time hours of 0.75 FTE or more can also be considered.
  • Salary: circa £25,000 gross per annum full time equivalent - to be pro-rata based on contracted hours

The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for someone with the ability to work under pressure and organize work pro-actively to support, co-ordinate and develop all operational aspects of their Facilities, IT, Logistics and Health and Safety. The post holder will provide first level support, advice and training to staff for OI Equipment, Communication, Travel and IT provision, as well as maintaining contracts and developing provision in these areas. Being the first point of contact for OI staff on all IT issues, they will provide a strong internal customer service approach for staff, linking them to decision makers or technical support as necessary.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will have excellent organizational, time management and administration skills, with a strong analytical and problem-solving approach, and a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a varied and busy support role and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
