CaLP is the global partnership for cash transfer programming in humanitarian aid. We are a catalyst for accelerating change in the scale and quality of cash transfer programming. We enable the collaboration necessary to develop practical solutions to collective problems in the sector. Since our founding in 2005, CaLP has been at the forefront of promoting and improving cash transfer programming across the humanitarian sector.

About the role

Reporting the to CaLP Director, the CaLP Programme Coordinator will be responsible for:

· The strategic leadership of CaLP’s programme work, which comprises the products and services under the strategic objectives of Capacity Building and Knowledge Management & Research.

· Coordinating the planning and management of programme work across CaLP; and for implementing programme activities that are managed by the global programmes team.

· Providing technical leadership on CTP within CaLP, and leading technical engagement across the CaLP network. As a senior leader, you will be expected to initiate and lead new strategic initiatives within the CaLP team and across the membership.

· Managing the global programmes team.

What we are looking for

· Senior management experience, including responsibility for strategy, staff management, planning, delivery, budgets and representation in an aid context.

· Understanding of roles, responsibilities and politics of different actors in the international humanitarian system.

· Field experience of working in the delivery of humanitarian aid.

· Strong understanding of recent developments in Cash Transfer Programming, including opportunities, complexities and politics around it.

· Experience of coordinating work across teams within any beyond direct line management

· Experience of managing restricted grants from humanitarian donors, including meeting their compliance requirements

· Masters degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate technical field.

· A commitment to Oxfam’s and CaLP’s objectives and values.
