This post will be part of the GHT (Global Humanitarian Team).
The Role
We are looking for a Business Support Manager to help understand and improve the financial model and flows of Oxfam’s global humanitarian spend c. Euro 300 million per annum, using available financial information from OI teams.
This role will lead on the business planning of the GHT and have oversight of Finance, HR and Business Administration within the GHT.
The role will interact with Oxfam affiliates from across the confederation who resource the GHT, and ensure a strong interaction with Oxfam country and regional teams.
The role will provide leadership, analysis and problem solving, supporting the finance, Human Resources and Business Administration teams that report into it.
To provide leadership to the business support functions of Finance, HR and Business Administration and collaborate effectively with IT teams to allow the Global Humanitarian Team to lead and support Oxfam’s global humanitarian programme.
This will involve negotiating policies, procedures and effective working relationships with a number of Oxfam affiliates and their support systems who support the GHT and Oxfam’s international programming.
Provide analysis of the performance of business systems, notably finance, HR and business administration to enable Oxfam to increase its effectiveness and improve decisions and strategic choices.
Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
