Programme Policy Officer - Gaza
Salary: 107,376 ILS Gross per annum (fixed-term national contract)
The role
Focusing on Oxfam’s programme you’ll help to strengthen Oxfam’s programme policy work, through the provision of strong analysis and influencing. You will work closely with all programme staff and partners to develop policy analysis and practice changes related to Oxfam’s programme in Gaza. We’ll also expect you to lead on delivering Oxfam’s programme policy commitments.
Your exciting role will also include capacity building for our partners, focussing on programme policy and advocacy; and you have a key role to play in inputting into project proposal design, budgets and reporting to donors
What we’re looking for
As well as experience in policy influencing, networking and alliance building with other agencies, you’ll bring strong conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to think/operate innovatively and strategically. Confident when it comes to representation, you know how to turn strategy into action, you have commitment and experience in inter-community dialogue. This is a well defined role and we’re looking for someone with the drive and vision to build on our successes here so far.
