About the Role
The ‘Business Development Manager’ is an exciting new role working for Oxfam’s Syria Crisis Response.
Based in Amman the role will work in collaboration with Oxfam funding teams in Damascus, Beirut and Amman to develop a fundraising strategy for the Syria Crisis response. The role will lead on the development of high quality fundraising bids, identify, engage with and influence donors to both enhance Oxfam’s external profile and increase our response.
In addition it will provide support and advice to Oxfam staff and partners on restricted fund management to ensure effective compliance with donor requirements.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an outstanding strategic manager with significant experience in leading, designing, and mobilising resources and implementing funding strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge and passion for working in the Middle East.
In addition, they will have excellent representation and influencing skills, experience in engaging with bilateral and multilateral donors; the ability to identify new business opportunities and partnerships for the Syria crisis response across Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, working with colleagues across Oxfam.

Salary:£27,963 - £37,095 net per annum
