We are looking for a Learning and Communications Support Officer to work on an Oxfam-led consortium implementing sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene activities in fragile contexts. An experienced communications specialist with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, you will lead the communication of learning both within and beyond the consortium, and deliver a communications strategy that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
Based in Oxford, within Oxfam’s Global Humanitarian Team, you will work with members and partners in geographically dispersed locations to share information, capture learning, and provide support and advice on communications and media work as required. You will work with others to create a range of high-quality, high-impact outputs to engage external audiences, including case studies, learning briefs, newsletters and more. You will also work with consortium members to organise events to disseminate learning from the programme more widely.
You will have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written; a keen eye for detail; a strong focus on consultation and collaboration; an ability to maintain effective working relationships with a range of different stakeholders; good coordination and organisation skills; and an ability to think creatively and convey complex information in an engaging way.
