Oxfam is looking for a dynamic and experienced Digital Workplace Manager. Our mission is to change the world, but we want you to bring change to Oxfam by helping to unlock the collaborative talents of our brilliant colleagues across the globe through sustaining and driving adoption of a new and evolving suite of digital collaboration tools.
If you are the ideal candidate, you will be asked to:
- help steer us through the change process to our new global digital collaboration suite;
- drive user adoption of the new suite of tools: support early adopters, champions and everyone else through the digital workplace journey;
- establish and sustain a new network of community managers, promoting best practice for collaboration, internal communications and knowledge sharing;
- oversee and develop an integrated digital content governance strategy;
- influence key stakeholders across the globe through reason, analytics and leading by example through a visible digital presence and network;
- work with colleagues, vendors and partners to ensure the availability of a high quality, secure, reliable and user-friendly suite of systems;
- lead colleagues, vendors and partners in defining a technology roadmap is that agile, responsive and aligned to our strategy and needs;
- manage the budget for the new global digital workplace
- help us to define the digital workplace for the Oxfammer of the future.
We’ll be looking for someone with:
- a University degree or college diploma in a relevant field and/or significant work experience in a related field;
- high technical literacy and curiosity about emerging technologies, particularly related to collaboration and knowledge sharing, as well as an in-depth understanding of their relative applicability and strengths in different situations;
- experience in managing a large intranet;
- experience in effectively managing a global distributed virtual team;
- ability to oversee the delivery of multiple projects and deadlines in a complex international network environment;
- experience in leading a network of community managers, promoting best practice for collaboration, internal communications and knowledge sharing;
- excellent written and spoken skills in English required;
- demonstrated capacity to work in a self-directed manner in a team-based setting;
- an personal alignment with our goal to end the injustice of poverty
